Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will play a key role in delivering BGF’s brand, content and engagement strategy across partnerships, events, internal communications, flagship campaigns and digital content. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, communications, investment and portfolio teams, this role will help bring BGF’s story to life for external audiences and employees, ensuring consistency, impact and strong execution.
This is a hands-on role combining content creation, campaign delivery and stakeholder coordination, with particular focus on digital channels, partnerships, internal engagement and events.
Key Responsibilities
Special Projects & Key Campaigns
Support the planning and delivery of major marketing projects and campaigns, including BGF’s 15th anniversary celebrations.
Coordinate activity across teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand and to a high standard.
Contribute to campaign messaging, creative development, event execution, content production and reporting.
Identify opportunities to extend the reach and impact of campaigns through digital, partnerships and events.
Event Delivery & Amplification
Support the marketing and delivery of key BGF events, including Women in Entrepreneurship & Board events, campaign events, partnership events and workshops, forums and policy roundtables.
Assist with event communications, invitations, content, on-the-day support and post-event follow-up.
Ensure events are effectively leveraged for content, social media and relationship building.
Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
Partnership & Sponsorship Activation
Maximise the value of BGF’s partnerships, sponsorships and memberships across the entrepreneurial and investment landscape.
Develop activation plans that translate partnerships into visible brand presence, content opportunities and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate with partners to deliver campaigns, events and content that align with BGF’s strategic objectives.
Track and evaluate partnership performance to inform future marketing investment and activity.
Internal Communications
Support the development and delivery of internal communications plans that build engagement, alignment and understanding across BGF.
Create and coordinate internal content including newsletters, announcements, presentations and campaign materials.
Work with senior stakeholders to ensure key messages are clearly communicated to teams across regions and functions.
Help reinforce BGF’s culture, values and purpose through consistent internal storytelling.
Digital Content & Channels
Develop engaging, on-brand content that supports BGF’s reputation across the entrepreneurial, SME and investment ecosystem.
Work closely with the PR Team to develop a social media calendar for our corporate channels including copy development and design guidance.
Support website content updates, including copy development, campaign landing pages and ongoing optimisation.
Brand, Measurement & Continuous Learning
Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity across all marketing activity.
Track and report on performance across digital channels, campaigns, partnerships and events.
Use insight and data to refine activity and continuously improve effectiveness.
Keep up to date with marketing best practice across B2B, financial services and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Profile
4+ years’ experience in a marketing, communications or content role, ideally within financial services, investment, professional services or a B2B environment.
Proven ability to deliver campaigns, partnerships or events with multiple stakeholders.
Strong experience managing digital content, particularly LinkedIn, and supporting website content.
Excellent written communication skills, with a strong eye for detail and brand consistency.
Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborative and confident working with senior stakeholders across different teams.
Commercially aware, with an interest in entrepreneurship, investment and business growth.
